Escape to the heart of an oasis of sweet and savoury flavours with our sardine crumble with oriental and spicy notes... Melt-in-the-mouth, sweet and fragrant, this recipe is inspired by the tajine for a tasty escape to the south of the Mediterranean! 

Delicately crumbled, the sardines are cooked with tomatoes, onions, preserved lemon and Turkish sultanas, all enhanced by our fruity extra virgin olive oil, a touch of oriental spices and a hint of harissa for maximum flavour! 

Whether eaten hot or cold, our Flaked Sardine Carthage Delight can be enjoyed simply on toast or in a salad, and is just as delicious on pizza or in tabbouleh!

Fresh and generous, this salad is inspired by a Tunisian culinary tradition called Oumek houria, which means ‘Mother the Fairy’, and consists of a cold starter of cooked and spiced carrots. Thanks to our Délices de Carthage crumble and its delicious combination of oriental flavours, you can make this salad in 15 minutes, including 10 minutes cooking time: simply place some carrot strips in the oven, combine them with the crumble and leave to cool before enjoying!
