April Fish with Hummus
This Easter weekend, make your friends and family smile with irresistible April Fools' Day appetisers or starters with our brand new Organic Houmous with Brittany Seaweed. All you need is some puff pastry, a bunch of pink radishes and an egg to make these delicious appetisers to share in less than 30 minutes!


All ingredients
1 tin of 95g of la belle-iloise organic Hummus with Brittany Seaweed
1 puff pastry
10 pink radishes
1 egg yolk for the gilding
A few herb leaves for decoration
Let's get started

Step 1Use a fish-shaped cookie cutter or make a template by drawing on cardboard the shape of a fish no more than 10 cm long and cutting it out

Step 2Place it on the pastry and cut out the outline, then place the pastry on an ovenproof tray

Step 3Brush the pastry with egg yolk and decorate the tail and eye with the tip of a knife

Step 4Bake in the oven at 200°C for about 15 minutes until a nice colour is obtained, then leave to cool

Step 5Cut the radishes in half lengthways and then in half slices

Step 6Scoop out the insides of the fish and sprinkle with the hummus

Step 7Place the radishes on top, arranged in the shape of scales

Step 8Decorate with a leaf of grass
To make the fish easier to scoop out, score the edges with the tip of a knife before cooking.
For an extra treat, add some red onion pickles or sprinkle a little seaweed flakes on top.
