Buckwheat pie with flaked fish
All ingredients
2 x 80 g tins of la belle-iloise flakes
2 buckwheat cakes
2 eggs
100 g cream
300 g oignons
2 tablespoons of oil
2 pinches salt
Optional: 30 g grated cheese
Let's get started

Step 1Fry the chopped onions in a pan.

Step 2Preheat the oven to 210 °C.

Step 3Oil the pie dish.

Step 4Place 2 buckwheat cakes on the bottom.

Step 5In a bowl, mix the two tins of flaked fish, the eggs, the cream and add the seasoning. Then add the cooked onions.

Step 6Pour the mixture into the pie dish and sprinkle with cheese.

Step 7Bake for 25 minutes and serve hot.
Using a metal pie plate will give you a crispier base.
Use whatever kind of la belle-iloise flaked fish you fancy.
Replace the onions with leeks.
It can also be served as an aperitif or an entrée.
