Fresh, delicious and full of vitamins, here's an original sweet and savoury product that combines the benefits of seaweed with those of fruit. Kiwifruit, apples, royal kombu, a touch of sugar and lemon juice, all organically grown: an original recipe using simple ingredients to preserve their authentic flavour!
This confit can be enjoyed cold, as an aperitif, with cheese, as a dessert or even as a snack or breakfast.
With just 11% added sugar and 84Kcal per 100g, the equivalent of a fruit yoghurt, it's a less sweet, lower calorie alternative to traditional jams, confits or chutneys.
Practical, it keeps for 2 years at room temperature, and once opened can be kept in the fridge for 15 days!
All ingredients
2 jars of organic kiwi apple and seaweed confit
How do you use it?
As an aperitif
Spread fresh cheese or butter on toast, add a spoonful of kiwifruit confit and enjoy as is, or add a sardine in sunflower oil, tuna au naturel or strips of raw, pickled or marinated vegetables to taste!
On a cheese platter
Ideal for enhancing cheeses, simply place the confit on the platter and invite your guests to help themselves! It goes wonderfully well with sheep's milk cheeses like Ossau-Iraty, fresh goat's cheese, Beaufort or Comté...
For dessert
Perfect for adding an original twist to your fruit bowls, place a little confit on melon or strawberries for example... For those with a sweet tooth, sprinkle over a dry cake that has been crumbled beforehand, such as a galette or palet breton, and top with Chantilly cream!
For brunch, afternoon tea or breakfast
Mix a generous spoonful of confit into fromage frais or plain yoghurt and pour over a little granola or muesli!
